Suraj te chann kihde hukam naal charhde te dub jande ne;
Kihde hukam naal ambar utte taare jagmagaande ne. Kaun eh sanu datan bakhshe khawan ate handaawan lai; Kis ne kann te muh han ditte sunan ate sunaavan lai. Jo vi aave murshad poora eh partakh vikha dindai; Kahe avtar is vichhrhi rooh nun satgur rab mila dindai. |

Under whose command do the sun and the moon rise and set?
Under whose command do the stars twinkle in the sky? Who does grant us all that we eat and wear? Who has given up ears to listen and mouth to speak? The perfect True Master reveals this power (God), face to face, to whosoever approaches him; Avtar says, the True Master unites this separated (human) soul with God. |
Meaning
True Master answers all questions about the creator and the controller of our lives in no time. Under whose command do the sun and the moon rise and set? Under whose command do the stars
twinkle in the sky? Who grants us all that we eat and wear? Who has given us ears to listen and mouth to speak? This is answered by the perfect True Master to whosoever approaches him. Here
